Where I live now, we get local candidates debating on local cable TV. I don't know who these people are, and since I've not seen the yard signs, mug-shots, and mailbox (blue-box) stuffing from of any of them, I can truly say that they are strangers to me. However, as the camera scans them, the Liberal candidate stands out. Do these guys get some party-funded dress-to-win counseling tossed at them when they win their nomination? Navy suit, flower in lapel, smug grin, and meticulous hair -- what's left of it.

One must admit, by appearance, they look more capable than much of their competition. If a Liberal MP's role extended beyond voting as the PM (Puppet Master) dictated, their individual qualities would warrant consideration: As it is, they just need to look presentable.

Cheers, PW.

This is after all a constitutional monarchy. Jean is just a little confused as to who the sovereign is.
