This statement says it all. In other words, let's just price the damn things, get em out the door, and make the stinking commission on it.

The reason for the postponed offerings too, is that these guys don't want to lose their would be commissions by year end. With every new issue, they risk doing that. Therefore, they will wait until the markets are ripe to unleash their garbage again, and the retail investor will buy into the hoopla, only to get dumped on in the long-run!
