Bush is a nice Methodist boy, they don't do things like that.

Well, I don't believe religion has anything to do with it in this case except with regard to the values that GW received from his father.

George Bush Sr. is/was a very moderate Republican and certainly never showed a propensity to be a demagogue.

I highly doubt that his son will reflect any form of ideological intolerance either.

I personally think the nation would have been far better off with George Bush Sr. at the helm than it was with Bill Clinton. But thanks to Ross Perot that was not to be.
