Kenneth, The 10,700 ballots were counted twice. You know that. PB county hand count came in late. By your own FLSC court`s ruling they were not to be counted.

With all the law suits the dems file you would think they would understand that.

Ken, they have had 19 days to count the votes. What about the 27k uncounted votes up in Bush country? Did you forget about those? The palm county tally extrapolates to less than 200 total votes. If Dade county did not give him votes, they were not his. Dade is a democratic county.

Frankly, I am sick of the bull tossed by the bleeding heart liberals that somehow feel that it is Gore's right to be in the White House. He simply failed to steal enough votes to win. end of story. Lieberman can go do his thing in CT while Gore continues to attempt avoiding prosecution for the things that he did over the last 8 years. tp

Kenneth, it is over. The Florida courts will reject Gore's contest of the vote. It was the Florida Supreme Court that set the 5 pm Sunday deadline for delivery of the manual counts. The Florida Supreme Court is not going to alter its 5 pm Sunday deadline (it will seem extremely foolish and partisan, if it did), nor will it second guess individual county election board decisions, such as the decision by Dade County not to hand count ballots that showed no presidential preference in the machine count.

I know it is unfair to Gore. I am convinced that thousands more Floridians thought that they voted for Gore over Bush, but because of faulty ballot design or ancient voting equipment their votes did not register -- the original exit polls were right! Nevertheless, at this point the chances of Gore snatching Florida from Bush are almost nil. Gore will contest, to show his supporters that he values their votes, but that effort will fail in the Florida state courts and I strongly doubt he will take it to the Supreme Court.

Hopefully, after this adventure, Florida and other states will update their voting equipment from 19th to at least 20th century technology.

<<Great talk from Lieberman.>>

If whining were a sport, Lieberman would be undefeated and unscored upon.
