If Bush just won anything, it the Presidency in name alone. Few Democrats will be willing to accept his legitimacy to govern.

It is time for honor, ethics, respect and integrity to return to our cherished White House. Hear hear! Jesse Ventura for President! Watching dubya speak tonight, I'd say he knows he's got a lock on 6 votes in the Sup. Court. Looks like he's going to be the prez. A 'C' student with the vocabulary of a 6th grader in the oval office. Who'd a thunk it? Oh well, I will accept dubya as "our president", and give him all the respect and consideration you guys have given "our president" for the past 8 years. :-) ... Mezz - Party on, Garth!

President Elect Bush..hmmmm. Wow, does anyone hear this guy on CNN focusing on counting all the counties, then follows up with claiming just the counting of 11 or 12 thousand votes in Gore's hopeful territory would give us a just result as to who is the next president of the United States? Need I say more? Oh...so strong was he on saying "..that's what we ought to shoot for..(counting in all Fla. counties)." I'd reply, "oh, so you are finally realizing that? You had a zillion chances to ask for that through official channels, instead you officially asked for an unfairness to be accepted as fair, all along. Now you want to "shoot" for fairness by requesting all counties be counted? Finally you'll officially ask for something fair? mama mia..." I've gotta tell anyone reading this, I firmly believe that if Al Gore had followed basic fairness from the start, instead of greed, he'd have accomplished a statewide hand-count easily by now. Possibly by the fourteenth. Such results flow from fairness, naturally. And this simple reality is part and parcel of why Freedom Works, Dan B Dan B
