I enjoy being kind. I guess that's selfish of me. Gets me the best looking girls.

Yeah.. that was my philosophy also...

But weren't/aren't you amazed at how many gals like to date @ssholes and jerks, deluding themselves into believing they can "make them change"?

Of course, I kinda figured these weren't the girls I wanted to date anyhow...

Btw, what I said was simplistic, but so was the constant BS I hear about the "white man's burden" for all the supposedly terrible things that our ancestors perpetrated.

Stronger people(s) have been kicking the butts of weaker ones for millenia. Those who claim to be victims were usually engaged in bullying someone smaller than themselves somewhere in their past.

As for slavery... there is slavery occurring RIGHT NOW in Africa. It is either outright bondage or indentured servitude. This has been a way of life in Africa since before recorded history. Conquer another tribe, kill the men, enslave the women. But then the whites showed up and said "hey don't kill those men... we'll sell them as slaves over in the colonies".

Of course, the fact that these black africans would have been killed if they hadn't been sold into slavery to whites is a non-issue. They would just claim that death would have been preferable. Well, who's to say, I guess. But as a dead man, I know that I don't have much of a future except as fertilizer.

Also note that early America was colonized by indentured servants from England's debtor's prisons.

And in fact, the very word slavery is derived from the period when much of the balkan people were in bondage. Of course, those people are known as Slavs to this day.

Of course, you'll NEVER see Jesse Jackson spending his time and money traveling to Africa to denounce current slavery. It would undermine his position that only whites are responsible for such an outrage.

Regards,

Ron

Hi Peter !

"Me, I don't like to be cruel. I enjoy being kind."

To some people, your kindness may be cruel. Twist yourself every once in a while and take a look. It is almost as if you want people to be indebted to you (for the kindest of reasons)... is that not a form of slavery...
