Yep - Bad Breath Barr jumped in on AMD when the K6 was rolled out - then fell over his fanny when some minor Pentium II bug was found to be irrelevant.

I recall he posted that he put his daughter's "furture education" into AMD stock when AMD was in the $30+ (pre-split) range - only to watch that investment drop to about $17 when AMD encountered severe yield problems in August/Sept. of 1997.

Bad Breath Barr bailed out near the lows.

I feel sorry for his daughter.
