It appears from this link that Republicans mailed out absentee ballots to thousands of registered Republicans in that county. That is illegal because the law says that voters have to request absentee ballots.

You are beating a dead horse Tom. That issue has been
covered and nothing illegal was done. Your comments are

I don't think this could be called "stealing" votes. No one twisted those people's arm's into requesting ballots. And they certainly didn't force them to vote for either candidate. So there could be invalid Gore votes too. The ballots themselves however, were very valid, and counted correctly as such, the first time around.
