If Republicans really believed that Gore did not have a treasure trove of votes in Miami/Dade, why did they roar in outrage and protest when the canvassing board announced its intention to count the undervote?

I guess we can call this Elian's revenge. Bush's siding with Cuban-Americans on this issue probably won him the election.
