Chris,

I understand that you feel that Christianity has no room within which to share my views. I further understand what the eternal implications are for my soul within your viewpoint.

I don't necessarily agree with your viewpoint, but I certainly have no problem discussing it with you amicably, nor do I feel anger because you think I will end up in Hell.
In fact, I would defend your right to feel the way you do, and for you to practice your religion as freely as possible.

The only difference of opinion I have with what you said, is that I don't agree that Christianity all about sin. (believe me, I am not trying to be an authority on Christianity, here) It seems to me that Christianity is all about the redemption from sin, and the process that it takes. I think the difference between the two statements is more than semantics, I think it is a different perspective.

I agree that the new age movment is a differnt cistern than a born again belief in Christianity. But all of the renewal in spirituality that I see is not New age based. Also, regardless of what form that spirituality takes at the moment, there is no discerning what path that renewed interest will take in the future. Perhaps, for many people, the road to self-discovery willl eventually lead to Christianity? Maybe it will only lead to selling pamphlets at their local airport, but who can tell? :-)
