I don't think you are thinking straight. No reasonable person would want you and me to look at 100 ballots that have not been punched through but might have a slight mark or even fingernail indentation and make a determination what some unknown person was trying to do. With 100 of them I would bet we would be wrong at least 50% of the time. The machine count is far superior to that.
