One can only win on qualifying ballots. Bush will have won the Electoral College vote fair and square.......

Do you feel the DUI incident of 24 years ago is more deceiving and of greater importance than the "I did not have sex with that woman" statement made in court just last year by your current leader?

I agree. I also wouldn't be surprised to find some strange bedfellows when the truth behind the Miami-Dade and Palm Beach recount stories sees the light of day. There may have been some interesting deals and promises made (or perhaps threats) to get those counties to cooperate with the GOP machine. I don't think we'll hear the end of this well into the next Presidential election.

Gore's legal team made a foolish strategic decision to not pursue manual recounts in every county early on.

If they weren't so "clintonized" by the past, they would have thought about the big picture, instead of just trying to manipulate the votes in Gore only districts.

This poor strategic decision forced them to attack the overseas military vote, which in turn makes their "every vote count" rhetoric now look ridiculous. Everyone knows they tried to screw the military absentee vote. So, there is no way the outcome will change.

I called it a foolish move at the time. They should have listened to me instead of their clintonized lawyers. :)

Notice how Bush pled "guilty" to the charges ? Would Clinton EVER plead guilty to anything ?

Jon.
