Ron C, as a point of reference, the 1,000,000 300mm wafers TSM is predicting for 2003 would, using 0.13u technology, produce enough silicon for ~1 BILLION CPUs like the AMD Athlon or Intel PIII. That assumes an impossible 100% yield but it's still one heck of a lot of chips!

Anyone care to translate 1,000,000 * #PI * 150^2 mm2 into terabytes of 0.13u flash memory with multiple bits per cell?
