Paul,

>>>> SOX seems to be forming about a 200-point descending triangle here <<<<

Good catch. It looks like the UPPER TRENDLINE of that DESCENDING TRIANGLE is around 700-695 for today, and is declining at a rate of about 5 points a day. With the SOX closing FRI at 674 we could see a test of that trendline as early as today. A break above that trendline would be bullish, although DESCENDING TRIANGLEs normally break to the downside, which would support your concerns.

As for GE and BA/DOW stocks, Im suspecting that there could be a possibility of some sort of sector rotation from the DOW to the NAZ. If the SOX can break above that trendline that could be the first clue.

<<GE broke its 1998 trendline on a closing basis for the first time last week.>>

GE break of H&S top looks good to 42 or so but I expect its going to retrace more of the parabolic advance in the next couple months.

good short candidate on rallies imo.

Paul,

Just heard on CNBC that a firm cut MU earnings from $3.75 to around $2.00. Couldnt find anything on Yahoo yet. Well, thats not good for the SOX.
