Ian, since reunification, German interests have been buying on the cheap any available business and land in those territories. In Silesia, you can't get a job in those German owned facilities unless you can show "German descend". The unemployment there in the "Polish" population is around 30%. The process is clear, repopulate with German "blood" and then "call for a plebicite". It may take another 10 years, but the seeds are being sewn under the flag of "Free markets" and "free flow of capital". As for the election, as much as I do not like "disenfranchising", I think that the tactics of the Dems should include challnging the legality of the 4700 absentee Republican votes that were illegally "registered" in Seminole. After all, that should partially compensate for thousands of Democratic "uncounted" ballots that were not counted due to voters errors (butterfly ballots), light punching of holes (dimples etc.). I fear we have until December 12th before this election is really resolved, and the markets are going to have their up and downs with each court decision. Zeev
