I say we are to the races...downgrades on txn...mu were a good sign...it means they want to buy..Intc..Mot..Pmcs..Brcm.
They want to buy some chip stocks w/o dowmgrading the exact names..
The mkt never waits for feds to move...they speculate..by the time the feds ease the mkt will hv priced it in and plummet when the ease actually goes down. 3600 will happen like a bolt of lighting...leaving the little guy going=duh..Leadership will emerge..maybe even the beaten down big cap techs.if the mkt has fooled you up to this point then do/think something different..imo

Volt, I'm not so sure that I agree with you on the year-end tax selling idea.

This has been a market of survival. People that are waiting until the end of the year to sell may very well see the stocks they are waiting to sell go down another 10, 20, 30% or more.

I believe much of the normal tax selling was done earlier in October and November. This has been a year where you sell when you "have to", and not sell when you "want to".
