In Florida, it is now widely known that Bush forces stuffed the box with fraudulent absentee ballots -- unattested and mailed AFTER election day -- which have now been added to the county totals in several counties -- Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa -- in the ultra right-wing Northwest Panhandle. In Volusia County, hand recounts of dimpled ballots for Bush were added (and counted by the Secretary of State) while hand recounts of "hanging chads" for Gore from Palm Beach were not. In Miami-Dade, literally tens of thousands of ballots for Gore with "chads" hanging by one or two corners were left uncounted. In Broward and Palm Beach counties, poorly designed ballots which upon inspection appeared to have been punched twice -- once for Gore and once for Leiberman -- were not counted for Gore. Yet, contrary to Volusia County's forgiving practice when it came to Bush votes, dimpled ballots for Gore were excluded.

Sadly, state and county Florida officials have made the election into a farce. Combined with the fact that Gore won the national popular vote, I can foresee tens of millions of Americans refusing to accept Bush as anything except a Pretender to the White House - a usurper whose supporters wilfully wrecked democracy for their fanatical purposes.
