Just read another report from DSLReports.com about another ISP on the ropes. They are all starting to crumble, leaving only the major players left to stand. This is a good thing, IMO. Shake out the sector, consolidate and then the sector moves forward at a move efficient pace. One thing I can say for sure, if my DSL connection gets cut off, I will be quickly searching for a larger ISP to replace it. Once one has a taste of DSL, you will not want to dial in anymore.

I have DSL under the same E*Trade/SBC deal. I'm in MD and
Northpoint is the DSL installer/provider with Concentric
as the ISP. VZ is only responsible for the lines outside
the house. Service from NPNT has been excellent.
