Dear Mark: you are absolutely correct. I have met Bush years ago, and he is so likeable I was disappointed I couldnt talk to him longer. He attracts people like a magnet. I am quite confident he will have the best cabinet we have had in years. Also, if ANYONE can unite this country again I believe its him.
I never had the honor of meeting Gore but I have met some of the Senators he served with. I have been told that he didnt even get along with any of the Senators including those in his own party. (that is really unusual as the Senate, unlike the House is a Clubby affair) JDN

I think the optimal candidate would be both an intellectual and a leader. But there just aren't many to be found.
