Kevin, I'd like to see us break 3,000, then I am more convinced that a bigger rally is possible today. This is probably a pretty crucial spot right here.

9:55 reversal period, but will it reverse or break above 3,000 (and then will it keep going)?

Today was a classic hold from last week's triggers on the long side. A gap up was expected as an exhaustion rally which is why we had watch list plays lined up as potential short targets. When ADCT pulled back almost immediately and the number of windows of shorting opportunity in the morning downgrades of CMRC, ARBA, BRCM, ADBE and CY.. and the overblown short term moves in MRVC, KLAC the stage was set for a short play in the first reversal period 9:50-10:10. There were a few long plays most notably NOVN, ELNT, EPNY but TIBX, pulled back almost immediately (as was expected) as well.
