Very quiet board today. This can indicate a good time to buy. I am. Now quite a way into margin. Drillers mostly. OT: Was looking for Bambi's grandfather last week. Found several aunts and 2 uncles. My better half got better than half of them. Family freezers so full that we will probably hunt for trophies only next year. Haven't bought any beef or pork for years. We hunted just south of Lake Superior in northern Wis. Had 3 nights of zero or below and about 1.5 ft of snow. Three mild winters in a row have let the herd increase to levels well beyond what this area can normally support. We quit hunting and just video taped near end of week. Roebear, hope you did well also. Take care all. And remember buy low and sell high. Listen to the wisdom of the BigDog, this will be 2001 - the crisis. Winkman

O/T re: Gold/XAU move..... ... shhhh I'm going to hide & later claim I was on vacation; so I can wait & see if this is really a great breakout for the XAU. Then I'll reappear in a week, or so... after (of course) I see how the XAU/Golds did & how the election situation resolves itself/impacts the market etc...re-emerging, either - "glad I sold",or "glad I went to max margin" - whichever offers the best result - in the finest JQP-esque fashion (VBG)~ (one might partially sell the breakout leaders & rotate to quality laggards - ala what worked so well in the oilpatch - maybe trim some (not all) NEM, PDG, HM into continued strength & rotate into weakness (if seen) in AEM FN.to HGMCY (my fav) GOLD & maybe some speculative KGC DROOY GLG... PAAS cheap here for silver & SIL in the mid $8's is a must add...) PS: Cosmo - "still" got MEXP ? ... ;) ...by the way; most importantly: The Notre Dame Football Program is - BAAAAAAAAAAAAACK ! Fiesta Bowl - here we come ~
