I have previously referred to Abby Joseph Cohen, Larry Kudlow and Joe Battapaglia as the "tricycle of the bull market" with Abby the big front wheel ... but lately Joe the Batt-man and his company, Gruntal, are lacking in spirit, as Joe's Market Commentary (usually updated weekly) has not been revised since November 13 ... in that November 13 commentary, Joe calls for the DJIA to be at 12,500 (now 10,569), the S&P 500 to be at 1,625 (now 1,355) and the Nasdaq Composite to be at 4,300 (now 2,926) on December 31, 2000 ... with those predictions, I would be hiding also ... good luck to you, Joe ...

The Dems were deceitful in trying to portray Bush as evil for the environment. Of course TX is going to be tough with air quality - it's the home to some of the biggest oil refineries and chemical plants around.

Things actually got a bit better environmentally there under Bush. They certainly have not gotten any worse, no matter what Gore would like you to think.
