Some of us are wondering how you reconcile your strong environmentalist stance with your choice of residence?

There are some true environmental fruitcakes running the show in California. The CARB has recently reiterated a mandate for 10% of new vehicles sold in 2003 to be zero emission (electric cars). The states electrical grid is maxed out, regulatory hurdles delay implementing new capacity indefinitely.... What do those idiots think will happen when all these new electric cars are plugged in for recharging?? Lights out in La La Land.

Want to talk water rights in the west? I could go on and on about that tragic and difficult issue but why on this thread? Wouldn't it be nice though to someday find a way to generate clean power without dams? It could probably be done now but the status quo takes a long time to change. As for living in LA which is "Chinatown, Jake", I don't use much water. As little as possible. And urge others not to waste too. Every part of the country has its environmental tragedies. In fact every place in the world does. Even way up in the Aleutian islands sea otters and seaks are dying off into nothingness. Weird. 1000 miles from civilization. My guess is that that may be where we dumped our Navy nuclear waste before we were aware of such dangers. Out of sight out of mind. But everything comes back to haunt you.
