That gambit to try and catch a lunch rally, is not working too well, most are under water (g), but I am stubborn, so I just added CREE at $89-11/16. That is enough...

<ot>Hi SbH - since most of the points you ve listed are subject to debate and historical revisions :), we can put that aside for now. To me, this US election is a tie for both the WH and Congress. For better or for worse, all roads lead to the US Supreme Court. It may not be so bad to force a clarification of election laws for future reference in the form of precedents, and election reforms to boot.

With regard to the budget, I don't know for sure, but it doesn't sound quite right to me. What budget are we talking about? To begin with, if the budget battles of the past between the Clinton administration and Congress are a guide, it doesn't sound right. Also, even if this election were ok and the transition could begin in Nov, the new administration would ve little time to deal with the budget. JMHO

Anyway, I am hoping the Canadian election will go well. With my huge exposure of NT, I can't afford a double election whammy from north and south of the borders :)

best, Bosco
