There were cops there. If that was a "mob", why was no one arrested?

Why was no one injured?

Where were the fires? Overturned cars? Flying rocks?

Why weren't the cops wearing riot gear?

Why did one of the canvassers say he was not afraid and the decision was not affected by thar group of Republicans?

I've seen mobs; that was not a mob. That was a group of Americans exercising their constitutional rights/

And I'll bet you won't answer this on a point-by-point basis.

"They were also intimidated by a Republican dirty tricks mob"

I heard the democratic canvasser (Leahy, I believe) say that this was not true. Funny how the dems will say things that even the principals say are NOT TRUE.

Go figure.

You're very naive if you believe a word of what you are espousing here. Gore desperately tried, yet he simply couldn't invent enough votes in Miami-Dade to win Florida.

He tried to do so behind closed doors, but the canvassing board of Democrats in Miami-Dade County discovered there was NO way Gore could gain enough additional votes. They had already counted all of the Democratic precincts, and they simply didn't create enough new votes for Gore. The only precincts remaining to be counted were heavily Cuban and HEAVILY pro-Republican. So, they stopped. Get your facts straight and cite sources too.

LOL! It's ironic that Clinton/Gore's "disenfranchisement" of Cuban-Americans ultimately led to his defeat! I suppose in some ways, you could say Elian cost Gore the election! HAHA! Historians should have a field day when the story of why the vote counting stopped in Miami-Dade is more fully disclosed.
