I think the bears who have been bashing telecom spending for 6 months are about out of ammo. However, I admit I am watching brcm, amcc,pmcs, txcc, vtss and the optics carefully to see if they can shrug off this latest analyst blast within a few days.

I question WitSoundview's judgement in general. They downgraded Rational on apparently flaky grounds. Does the Ariba downgrade look well-grounded to you?
