I guess that would explain BRCM, AMCC and PMCS taking the gas today. It was already 'priced in'. The wheel keeps spinning....

Was Clarke Westmont the same analyst that specifically said last year to "avoid buying pmcs on weakness" and then backpeddled in Dec. upgrading the stock luckily saving face before pmcs came in with stellar earnings?

What exactly does "to reflect market conditions" mean?

Earnings growth is slowing, they expect the company to come in light on revenues, valuation is high or we're in a bear market and the stock has been coming down in price or is it CYA?

And what kind of language is that? "Concerns are priced in and problems will be short lived". So what does all this mean? Brcm is a buy now since it's 18% lower and all the concerns should have been priced in already?

I don't know about these analysts. No wonder people are sick of owning stocks when they get whacked 20% in a day on these calls.

Who knows maybe one of mine is next tomorrow.
