You are referring to the 72 hours to re-count up to 4 counties rule when you say: "The law should not have been written to allow this but the law was written by the Florida State Legislature." I can agree with you here. Why do you fail to address the "must be counted within 7 days" law? The answer is the same. You said it best when you wrote " This election screams for electoral reform". Note that I did not compare this situation to whether or not there would be a state wide recount. That was never requested by the repubs, nor is this option available as state law was written before the election. That is why it will come back to getting it counted within one week (like Valusia (sp?) did). Again I will state that the U.S. Supreme Court will affirm the laws on hand before the election and OVERTURN the FL Supreme Court. It is going to be interesting to see how the people who slammed Bush for stating his opinion on the Fl S.C. ruling when the U.S. Supreme Court backs up his opinion by OVERTURNING them. Will that make them political hacks also?
