AS, The deadline was granted as an extension to FLA law by a group of Democrats. At this point, Palm County has nobody blame but itself. Key members of the effort spent more time in front of the cameras than they did counting votes. They also took thursday off, only to miss by 2 hours. Too bad. they were lucky to get the 4-5 days and they failed to take advantage of it. Laziness killed them. In Dade county, the votes were all counted. since a manual recount could not be completed within the extended time of the FLA SC, a group of DEMOCRATS decided not to waste their time. Laziness or intelligence on this one. you make the call. tp
