The GOP is:

"Florida GOP Vice Chairman Jim Stelling, who has been following the lawsuit, said: "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous." Stelling, also the county Republican chairman, declined to reveal anything about the GOP's grounds for requesting the dismissal."

Well said, Gordon A. Langston. Your correct reasoning is the same reasoning that Gore is keeping a distance from this issue.

For the really ugly tactics like throwing out the Seminole county's absentee ballots, misleading canvassing boards regarding military ballots and influencing electors Gore keeps a pretty good distance from his henchmen.

Who says Gore is not reasonable? <g>
