Demosthenes, I don't have a model for the duration and magnitude of the SEMI orders cycle. I'd be most interested to learn about yours.

It is getting downright depressing here. Upper 20's, end of cycle etc. I take a simpler view of things. If we can avoid recession/hard landing all will be ok. And if we have a hardlanding isnt it the dow stocks that should be suffering here. Tech will always lead us during prosperity and always lead us out of a recession. The pressure on us to capitulate is growing but the lows stocks like amat are making certainly minimize any downside risk. The risk reward ratio is certainly improving. Unless this whole tech boom has been an illusion bull market will be back.
