I read also, but I also know many, perhaps thousands, which never have gotten deeper than the headlines of the front page, the cartoons, a part of the sports section(or the fashion page depending on gender), & the classifieds of interest in that day of their life.

Yes, despite our differences, we read, we think, we decide a great many factors of life based on a vast pallet of color of opinion!. Far too many see life only through the "black & white" of their color TV all to often tuned into mainly the Jerry Springers of the TV world.

Sad, I know, but very true.
