Like I said, Daschle and Gephart are happy to let Gore self-destruct. It makes their political futures even brighter with him out of the picture in 2004.

Gore is in the junkheap of history. The democrats would never choose him again. He is history. Right now I believe if the people could know what they now know about him and his character and the election were held today I don't believe Gore could get 35% of the vote. He is through in the minds of republicans, democrats, independents alike. Just the non-thinking valueless ones are still aboard.
