Joe First you demonstrate your counting abilities in this post: Message 14864929; I am not sure what you are getting at but if you count the missed votes for Gore in the counties that you refer to as "just noise", you will find that the number of votes missed on the first round of counting = roughly 970+ votes.....not chump change in my book especially when it appears that Bush has won by only 500 votes. next, you say this: You are getting sloppy. My source was not Mother Jones but rather US News and World Report.... although you probably consider that a marginal source as well. But here is what you posted (without link): Message 14864498 I will refrain from drawing any conclusions from those posts. Yes, I did use a link from Mother Jones in a prior post but in my post to you I was using an article that first appeared in the US News and World Report.
