BJ,

I am not sure which data are more recent. Good question. I have also noticed that the Yahoo top 10 fund holdings list does not tend to exactly correspond with the list of top ten holdings at fund web sites. For example I noticed this with the Firsthand Tech Value Fund. Maybe he had AMAT in September and sold out, or maybe he has recently started a position in AMAT. I am not sure. But I do know that when interviewed on 8/4/00 on the CNBC Market Week show, he said he would not buy AMAT at that time because of the semiconductor cycle. I sort of guessed that if he did not like it on 8/4/00 that he would have sold out any position in the fund by that time. Also, they often state on that show if they have a position in a stock that they are asked about. The recent comment that he likes semis indicates he must have been buying something, and I just put the pieces together given the Yahoo list, which has AMAT at the top. I am just guessing, but I think it is a good bet. I imagine the Pimpco people could comment on what is the latest top 10 list, and what date this list corresponds to.
