Gotta be some serious scrambling taking place at INTC right now, I'd guess...Once again, it looks like AMD has taken the heat, through no fault of its own, for what seems like a never ending story of production problems at INTC...Meanwhile, the 1.2 gig Athy/DDR combo, a new level in computing performance and excellence, is about to be unleashed on the retail marketplace, within normal scheduling tolerances...Seems that "Nobody does it Better than AMD"...

The Datel chain (3 large stores) in San Diego is now ONLY ADVERTISING AMD. The first AMD system they ever built was first advertised November 3. Now, 3 weeks later thats all they advertise.

I guess San Diego has VOTED with their CHECKBOOKS and decided that a GHz Athlon system for $989 is a better deal than a $1249 Intel 800 system.
