Ray, It is the democrats that are lying through their teeth about the military vote.

<< but for someone like me who has a fondness for facts and the truth, the Republican campaign on lying about the military vote issue absolutely makes my blood boil. >>

You obviously are blind to the facts. It's pretty simple.

1. The democrats sent out a 5 page document describing all of the hyper-technical reasons why a military vote could be disqualified. Do you disagree that this happened?

2. 40% of the military overseas absentee ballots received after Nov. 7th but before Nov. 17th were discarded. Do you disagree that this happened?

3. The democrats came out and said that these votes should be counted if legit, but at the same time, they sent hundreds of lawyers and operatives throughout Florida and threatened and slandared their way through the county boards in a continued effort to discard the military vote.

This is what happened and if you don't see it, you are blind. The case was dropped for two reasons. One, many of the counties voluntarily went back and accepted some of the discarded military ballots. And two, the judge in Leon County had his head so far up his ass it was rediculous. I watched the court hearing and he couldn't even agree to the simple fact that overseas ballots are acceptable up to 10 days after the election if properly signed and/or postmarked. He simply couldn't understand even the basic facts and he stated he didn't see how he could rule on the issue. He either chickened out, or he was ignorant.
