Oh zonk...I think a complete state recount would be curtains for Gore..just look at the margins of victory on the lower west coast, not to mention the upper gulf coast...this would decimate Gore's meager totals he squeezed from S. Florida doc

Gore JR's public spokesman have already admitted they were wrong in making this claim you now falsely perpetrate upon us here again. Bush never requested a single hand-count- though some took place without his request. Re: " Another reason is that the republican counties counties didn't have the punch card system and therefore there wasn't near the error as in the counties with them" Wrong again, Republican counties still contain lots of chadded votes not yet hand-counted, about half what Gore had going for him. Gore's have been counted now, and he still lost. But let's go ahead and count Bush's territory to be sure, by all means, win or lose. Dan B
