Cobalt: nice piece of sleuthing there, felon........er.....fella.

That case I mentioned the other day against the state of FL is to repeal the law barring felons from voting for life on the grounds that it is discriminatory(duh!), that is, on a racial basis. Seems the case is based on the fact that the definition of "felon" has expanded incrementally over the past 30 years in FL and that there are currently 500K people in this class; guess what, mostly Black and Latino, and that this is tantamount to exclusion from voting rights on a racial basis.

Strictly hypothetical here, but if that case had been won before the election, there might have been a couple hundred thousand pardoned felons suddenly eligible to vote. Do ya spoze Jeb was aware of this?
