Hi KLP,

....Anything new on the "contest" phase of this

Well, a new low in schlocky phone call phoniness from the Dems. As in Daschle and Gephardt sucking up to the boss in a televised demonstration that Al Gore couldn't have invented the Internet. He can't even figure out how to do a conference call convincingly.

Other than that, I got around to cleaning the stove, after Thanksgiving it had the look of a counting table in the emergency operations center in Hurricane alley. Good to get rid of all that baked on grease....

Remember, KLP, I just threw those out there so your side could have some clever ammunition in the war of words. As I've stated previously, I'm completely bifurbiguous about the court challenges that have been poised, posited, postured and postulated in the land of Leon.

And I'm wondering why the media didn't mention a supposition that I have about why a majority of the U.S. Supremes voted to put duct tape on the C-SPAN lens. These Supremes are nobody's fools. They know that come decision time, they are going to p*ss someone off royally in this country. And they still want to be able to pop down to the 7-11 anonymously, or nearly so, for that giant freezee, without fear of some lunatic taking them out. Why doesn't the media mention this? Probably because some gun-toting righteous loser would take it to be a good plan.

Best, Ray
