Everyone you can talk to in my locality is very happy right now. I have but one objection to make. I feel Beamer did this for his assistants and his vision of the program in future years , BUT, this is the second year he has done this to us. There are only so many times he can go to the well, and play the same hand in the card game. I hope he is satisfied for a few years. This is not something Tech Fans should have to endure year after year....

Va Tech Call of the year by Ricky Bustle.( Gator Bowl- Clemson vs. Va Tech ) Late in the 2nd qtr Tech was clinging to a 14-10 lead. 3rd down and 2 yards. Tech brings in two tight ends, and the fullback Ferguson. Suggs and Kendrick line up in the power I formation. Kendrick always goes in motion on this play. And the ball is given to Suggs with Ferguson leading the blocking, the ball is always run to the side of the field that Kendrick goes in motion to. But this time ;;Kendrick breaks to the goal line and Vick tosses a 49 yard pass to him to Clemson's 4 yard line where Suggs scores on the next play. Play of the year. Did anyone see the Gator Bowl. It was the ONLY TIME THIS YEAR TECH PASSES OUT OF THE POWER I FORMATION........
