Well, this is a new way of looking at it! My implication was that anyone (whether totally in their right mind, or not) would deny they were unwell, if the cure was to spin them around in a chair! I never considered that this contrapuntal blending of disparate diorientations (ah hmmm!), might actually reflect a true healing! Would this relate to the healing sessions in certain churches (I always try to stay on topic!), where the subject is rocked and spun, and leaned backwards and slapped on the forehead--and becomes stunned, and experiences an extrapersonal moment?!
