i believe people PLAYING the lock up were/are more of an issue than insiders selling. the whole sector is being treated like they're stamps, drkoop, etc etc dot com. shoot first mentality. if nortel can post a good Q4, give good forward guidance and proclaim 'told ya so, Q3 was a hiccup' tehn i think we will start to see money coming back in. as i spelled out in my other post; it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that we've gone from over to under valued in these stocks in a heartbeat. money always finds its way back to real and sustainable growth. once people are again satisfied that the growth is sustainable; they will return (if the market, as a whole, can find its footing again).

as i see it, the major risk in the short to medium term is the market as a whole (and its influences like inflation, the fed, economic growth and whether al gore will still be contesting the election after bush is sworn in ; ) that's the big worry; as one can never foretell just how much the market will contract valuations before greed takes back the reins from fear. frankly, in the case of nufo, i thought it would occur before $24. like i said, if they drive it into the teens, i'll buy more. we have >$8/share in cash and we are not bleeding cash by any stretch. i don't see us trading at cash value.... so where's teh bottom? gotta be getting close.

and, of course, all is clearly imo only........nick
