total votes counted in Florida according to CNN Count 1 - 5,816,627 1725 vote difference - margin of difference was 1 vote in 3372 Count 2 - 5,822,814 - 6187 additional ballots counted 930 vote difference - margin of difference was 1 vote in 6261 Count 3 - 5,825,043 - 2229 additional ballots counted 537 vote difference - margin of difference was 1 vote in 10847 Definitely a tie - but with 4 or 5 more counts we should be able to prove that conclusively ;-)
