If Bush gets away without counting ALL the votes and becomes president having also lost the national popular vote as well as the moral vote in Florida, when he puts his hand on the bible and gets sworn in to only about a third of the nation who'll believe in his legitimacy, it'll be one of America's saddest days in its history.

Not only is Gore more presidential and on higher moral ground, Gore also got more votes than Bush in Florida.

Anyone know why is Bush so afraid to count ALL of Florida's votes? And don't give me the pat line GOPwinger blabber about recount after recount, etc. In reality, Gore requested only one hand recount in four counties, within the 72-hour period as prescribed by Florida law. Given, at the time, he was down a mere few hundred votes out of six million cast it sure seemed Gore had a reasonable expectation for a fair recount.

But Gore NEVER got a fair recount. Did he? Why? Because Ambassador-elect Katherine Harris and a combative retinue of delaying GOPwinger attorneys impeded every fair opportunity to have hand recount in those four specified counties. As a consequence two of thefour counties failed in their efforts to submit for certification the hand recount to which Gore was entitled under Florida law. Hopefully, during contestment, Florida courts will correct the Bush Campaign's injustice on the Floridian election process.
