Thank you! It seems some folks here have a need to give the analysts credit they are not due imo. What they are doing is finally accepting the Jonathon Joseph scenario. And they are very late to boot because at least when he said it, semis were 2X what they are now. And since we are all wrong all the time about tops and bottoms, these amat folks are playing with themselves when they talk about picking up some amat in the upper 20's. Sure amat can go there in a panic or in a recession that becomes really severe but there is no signs of either. I bet Christmas will be just fine and all we are seeing is what a soft landing is supposed to be--a slowdown in the rate of growth. And who will grow more than tech in this environment--KO? Now if Gore will take off and Congress can get to some demand side tax relief for the middle class to soften the soft landing and Greenspan to go neutral......need i say more.
