SSB alleges channel stuffing by several OEMs. Briefing.com: 08:52 ET Salomon On PC Stocks : Salomon Smith Barney believes that it is still too early to buy PC sector stocks. Channel checks have produced multiple indications that several OEMs stuffed commercial channels in Sept./Oct. to achieve Q3 estimates. At this point, firm expects to see either Dec. qtr preannouncements or a Q1 2001 inventory correction.
