IMVHO, Al Gore's speech tonight contained lies & misleading information. Spin it anyway you want. The man looked directly looked into the camera, lied to & mislead the world IMVHO. FWIW, FOX news is calling Al Gore a liar as well. "Ignoring votes means ignoring democracy itself. [from legs story] Gore clearly & repeatedly threw out the Team Gore mantra about ALL VOTES MUST BE COUNTED. Now he tells us again that was all he was trying to achieve in Florida. That is false & misleading. No if's and's or but's about it. His words have NEVER been backed up by his deeds. He targeted democratic strongholds for manual recounts to the exclusion of 63 out of 67 counties in FL. He assaulted the military right to vote to specifically exclude them from their right to have their vote counted. He wants the world to believe, however, that he has been diligently attempting to have ALL VOTES IN FLORIDA COUNTED. Now he wants you to believe this is what he is doing as part of the contest of the Florida vote. Has Al Gore contested the election & specifically asked for a manual recount of the entire state of Florida? Sure folks on SI are likely well aware of this BS. However, a large % of America is hardly following this saga closely. They are being spoon fed this BS by the media that fails to present numerous significant facts. Then we have Team Gore on TV & in the newspaper frequently propagating their lies & deceit in cute little sound bytes. My wife, who voted for Gore, listened to the speech. She said it should have never taken place. He lost the election & attempted win it back through questionable means & even then he still lost. She was upset after his speech. She now firmly believes Al Gore lied & mislead the American public too (unless he has asked for a full statewide or full nationwide recount as part of the contest in Florida & that Gore can prove there was intimidation in Miami/Dade county). She believes Gore has lost it completely. Sorry folks. Them's the facts. I don't care how you spin it or how you justify it. Wrong is wrong. Lies are lies. I'm not buying the BS. Ö¿Ö
