Of course they would, it's a republican paper. Did you know that? OK, I will give some credit to Reagan. Well, his advisors would be more accurate, they did put an end to the cold war and that still has a bearing on world policy. The way they spent all of that money and what they got for it is another thing entirely. I'll bet the same person that wrote the articles you speak of could write some that give just as much credit to Clinton or Greenspan or maybe even someone like Bill Gates. >>>>Look you can have your opinions but the Wall street journal far more of an expert than you has credited this bull market to the policies of Reagan. After reading Zonkie's postings about the economy and the effect of each party on it I've come to the conclusion that the dems have some type of mystical powers. First of all Clinton on the day he was elected must have snapped his fingers and got the economy to turn around...like bingo that's done. Of course he solved world problems too, like the pharmaceutical factory in the Sudan...like boom that's done. Then there was the remote sand patch in Afghanistan...whiz in a couple cruise missiles.... and Ka-Pow the sand is rearranged. Then there was Yugoslavia when 45,000 troops were massed to go annihilate innocent people he waited for them to begin murdering, raping and destroying before he attacked, but after awhile he got them. Nailing them while they were in a hurry up and wait pause would have been too easy. Of course he never had to deal with minor things like the Berlin Wall or the Evil Empire while not ruining the economy funding the defenses needed to protect us from nuclear attack. But hey man he did practice his cigar technique. Btw. Did SI go down for a while tonight? All I could get for a while were errors messages.
