I'll second that! Excellent posts!

Legalize it and tax it! Put the "bootleggers" out of business and remove the crime element! Treat drugs as a whole as a medical issue first and criminal issue second! However, I've got serious reservations about legalizing anything other than marijuana!

Has anyone been to the bars in Amsterdam? I hear they serve bong hits at the bar like it was beer! I also hear that the rate of new users is the lowest in the world since they legalized the drug. I even remember seeing a story about the government sanctioned & monitored drive thru brothels! I'm not so sure that I would go to their extremes but at least there is a case history being developed!:-)

$tar.

ps. question: Who would you rather ride shotgun with after a long night of partying, someone who drank a case of beer or someone who smoked an ounce of weed?! If alcohol can be legal with all of its attending issues, then certainly something as nominal as marijuana can be tolerated! We might even find that it will reduce stress, road rage, alcoholism, and a number of other ills that currently plague our society!(I guess I can't run for president now!:-)
